Participation and Materials Fee:

$38.00 Workshop Fee Includes: 

  • Instruction by Mirely Cabral
  • Working knowledge of the letterpress printing method including mixing ink, press preparation, type setting and hands on printing experience.
  • 2-3 folded cards, 3 1/2” x 4 7/8”, printed on a vintage letterpress machine.
  • 10% off printing services with For The Press.

Workshop fee also includes a one-time discount of %15 percent off Total Purchase at Archer Paper Goods. Offer valid only for registered attendees on the day of the event at Ponce City Market.

All registered attendees will be entered to win a Gift Basket (valued at $50.00) at the conclusion of each workshop session. The winner will be drawn and announced on December 22nd.

About the Artist: Mirely Cabral

Mirely Cabral is the owner and printer at For The Press, a petite letterpress studio focused on creating handmade quality paper goods. She’s a full time brand and web designer based out of Atlanta for the past 11 years. Since 2016 Mirely has been letter-pressing wedding invitation suits, business cards, and a wide range of stationery. She’s held workshops in collaboration with ATLphabet and Ladies Wine and Design Atlanta. She’s a graduate of Georgia State University’ graphic design program and enjoys collaborating with other local creatives.

Cancellation Policy:

Archer Paper Goods reserves the right to cancel any workshop if minimum registration has not met store requirements. In the event that Archer Paper Goods cancels a workshop due to low registration, a full refund will be issued to all registered attendees.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The purchase of a ticket is an attendee’s registration. Workshops have a minimum enrollment requirement and maximum participation of 10-15 attendees depending on the instructor and type of class.

To cancel or withdraw, please email web@archerpaper.com. Withdrawals or cancellations of registration are accepted for a full refund up to 5 business days in advance. Cancellations received after 5 days or less of workshops will be accepted with a 30% refund. Registered attendees who appear as “no-shows” or fail to cancel registration prior to a workshop will forfeit registration participation fee without refund.

Confirmation:

Email confirmations are sent immediately after payment as proof of registration. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours of registration, please email web@archerpaper.com.

Instructors interested in partnering with Archer Paper Goods for future workshops must submit a proposal to info@archerpaper.com with the following information: workshop description; educational outcomes; end product; per attendee material cost; per attendee fee; number of days and session duration; biography and pictures.
