Participation and Materials Fee:

$38.00 Workshop Fee Includes:

  • Working knowledge of basic hand lettering, address layout and envelope design, and USPS rules for mailing correspondence
  • Vintage Postage to elevate your envelope (and get your letter delivered!)
  • Greeting cards and envelopes to mail up to (4) Recipients
  • Envelope and lettering practice guide
  • Vintage labels, ephemera, and washi tape to decorate your mail with (and a kit to take home!)
  • Recommended ways to explore the snail mail hobby further
  • Students should come to class prepared with a minimum of (2) personal mailing addresses that they wish to send mail to.

About the Artist: Laura Fearon

Laura Fearon is a snail mail artist who splits her time between Brooklyn and Atlanta. She loves the joy that sending a “vintage email” creates in her friends' mailboxes. A self proclaimed ephemera hoarder and United States postal service enthusiast, she enjoys sharing the vintage art of letter writing with others.

Cancellation Policy:

Archer Paper Goods reserves the right to cancel any workshop if minimum registration has not met store requirements. In the event that Archer Paper Goods cancels a workshop due to low registration, a full refund will be issued to all registered attendees.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The purchase of a ticket is an attendee’s registration. Workshops have a minimum enrollment requirement and maximum participation of 10-15 attendees depending on the instructor and type of class.

To cancel or withdraw, please email Withdrawals or cancellations of registration are accepted for a full refund up to 5 business days in advance. Cancellations received after 5 days or less of workshops will be accepted with a 30% refund. Registered attendees who appear as “no-shows” or fail to cancel registration prior to a workshop will forfeit registration participation fee without refund.
